Blind Inheritors of Faith14:10 Their messengers said, "Is there doubt regarding God, the initiator of the heavens and the earth? He invites you so that He may forgive some of your sins, and grant you until a predetermined time." They said, "You are but humans like us, you wish to turn us away from what our fathers used to serve. So come to us with clear authority."

সিহঁতৰ ৰাছুলসকলে কৈছিল, ‘আল্লাহ সম্পৰ্কে কোনো সন্দেহ আছে নেকি, যিজন আকাশসমূহ আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ সৃষ্টিকৰ্তা? তেওঁ তোমালোকক আহ্বান কৰে তোমালোকৰ পাপ মোচন কৰাৰ বাবে আৰু নিৰ্দিষ্ট কাল পৰ্যন্ত তোমালোকক অৱকাশ দিয়াৰ বাবে’। সিহঁতে ক’লে, ‘তোমালোকে হেনো আমাৰ দৰেই মানুহ। আমাৰ পিতৃ-পুৰুষসকলে যিসকলৰ ইবাদত কৰিছিল তোমালোকে সিহঁতৰ ইবাদতৰ পৰা আমাক বিৰত ৰাখিব বিচৰা। এতেকে তোমালোকে আমাৰ ওচৰত কোনো অকাট্য প্ৰমাণ লৈ আহা’।)

 If there were a Quran/recitation with which mountains were moved, the earth were sliced, or the dead were made to speak… No, to God is all matters. Did not those who acknowledge know that if God wished He would have guided all the people? As for those who reject, until God's promise comes true, a disaster will continue to strike them or alight at near their homes because of what they do. God does not breach the appointment.

আৰু যদি কোৰআন এনেকুৱা হ’লেহেঁতেন যাৰ দ্বাৰা পৰ্বতক গতিশীল কৰা গ’লেহেঁতেন আৰু পৃথিৱীক টুকুৰা-টুকুৰ কৰা গ’লেহেঁতেন নাইবা মৃত ব্যক্তিৰ লগত কথা ক’ব পৰা গ’লেহেঁতেন, কিন্তু সকলো বিষয় আল্লাহৰেই ইখতিয়াৰভুক্ত। তেন্তে যিসকলে ঈমান আনিছে তেওঁলোকে নাজানে নেকি যে, আল্লাহে ইচ্ছা কৰিলে সকলোকে সৎপথত পৰিচালিত কৰিব পাৰিলেহেঁতেন? আৰু যিসকলে কুফৰী কৰিছে সিহঁতৰ কৰ্মকাণ্ডৰ কাৰণে সিহঁতৰ বিপৰ্যয় ঘটিয়েই থাকিব, অথবা বিপৰ্যয় সিহঁতৰ আবাসৰ ওচৰে পাজৰে আপতিত হৈয়ে থাকিব, আল্লাহৰ প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতি নহা লৈকে। নিশ্চয় আল্লাহ প্ৰতিশ্ৰুতিৰ ব্যতিক্ৰম নকৰে।)

✔️Note: Mankind will keep devising various political and socio-economic systems in search for the best. Those systems will keep collapsing and they will keep suffering far and close to their towns and homes. Then, ultimately, they will realize that the Qur’an offers the solutions to all the problems humanity faces at any given time. 5:3, 9:31, 10:100, 13:31:48, 18:48, 41:53, 48:28, 51:20, 61:9. The Qur’an is intended to move hearts, not mountains. 6:7, 6:25, 6:112, 15:14,

🔴6:109 They swore by God using their strongest oaths; that if a sign came to them they would acknowledge it. Say, "The signs are from God; and how do you know that once it comes, that they would not reject?"

আৰু সিহঁতে আল্লাহৰ নামত দৃঢ় শপত খাই কয়, সিহঁতৰ ওচৰত যদি কোনো নিদৰ্শন আহিলেহেঁতেন তেন্তে নিশ্চয় সিহঁতে ইয়াৰ প্ৰতি ঈমান আনিলেহেঁতেন। কোৱা, ‘নিদৰ্শন কেৱল আল্লাহৰ ওচৰত’। (হে ঈমান্দাৰসকল!) কিদৰে তোমালোকৰ উপলব্ধিত আহিব যে, যেতিয়া সেই (নিদৰ্শন) আহি যাব, তেতিয়াও সিহঁতে ঈমান নানিব?)

🔴17:59 The rejection of previous people did not stop Us from sending the signs. We sent to Thamud the camel with foresight, but they did her wrong. We do not send the signs except to alert.

وَمَا مَنَعَنَا أَنْ نُرْسِلَ بِالْآيَاتِ إِلَّا أَنْ كَذَّبَ بِهَا الْأَوَّلُونَ ۚ وَآتَيْنَا ثَمُودَ النَّاقَةَ مُبْصِرَةً فَظَلَمُوا بِهَا ۚ وَمَا نُرْسِلُ بِالْآيَاتِ إِلَّا تَخْوِيفًا

আৰু আমি নিদৰ্শন প্ৰেৰণ নকৰাৰ কেৱল এইটোৱে কাৰণ যে, সিহঁতৰ পূৰ্বৱৰ্তীসকলে ইয়াক অস্বীকাৰ কৰিছিল। আমি শিক্ষামূলক নিদৰ্শন স্বৰূপে ছামূদ জাতিক উট প্ৰদান কৰিছিলো, কিন্তু সিহঁতে সেইটোৰ প্ৰতি অত্যাচাৰ কৰিছিল। আমি কেৱল ভয় দেখুৱাবৰ কাৰণেহে নিদৰ্শন প্ৰেৰণ কৰো।)

✔️Note:-The traditional translation implies that God initially sent signs/miracles to convert people and had an intention to send more signs but He is now disappointed to learn that His signs did not work as expected. Such an implication contradicts the attributes of God detailed in the Quran. Besides, we are repeatedly reminded that the purpose of sending signs/miracles has never been to make people acknowledge the message, but to support the open-minded people in their rational inquiries. The traditional translation also contradicts other verses of the Quran that remind us that messengers were supported by signs/miracles. Muhammed was not given a sign similar to previous messengers, but was rather given a unique sign, the Quran, a perpetual sign for every generation until the end of the world. See 29:51. Also, see 7:73; 26:155; 54:27; 91:13.

🔴17:59 (They keep asking for visible signs for fulfillment of the warnings of the oncoming disaster, such as the sign of the she-camel of Thamud.) Nothing has changed Our plan to send down this revelation, even though the previous generations have often denied Our verses. (For example) We sent the she-camel to Thamud, a visible sign of their compliance. But they did wrong to her. We send messages that they fear (the consequences of their misdeeds and establish the right System in their societies).

✔️Note:- 7:73, 11:89, 26:141, 27:45. Thamud killed the visible sign of the she-camel and incurred heavy retribution.
